Communism in China Over the Years...
There are a lot of effects that have occurred as a result of communism. First, the U.S. and China had been friends before the Communist Revolution. But after the Revolution the Chinese government became hostile toward the U.S. In later decades, China experienced many failures before changing the economic policies and setting the country on the right track again. During the 1950's, other countries saw how the new government of China was using so much force upon citizens. The citizens of other countries began to fear a change in their government for communism, too. Another effect is other countries such as Cambodia and Peru have followed Mao Tse-tung and created their own revolutions.
